Hair does not follow a rigid body that moves

1.) Make the default cube a rigid body
2.) Add a hair system to the default cube

This bug has been merged with #77685 but the solve for #77685 didn't affect this issue. I tested by running a source build 11th August 2020 in the morning and in the public nightly build "Blender 2.91.0 Alpha, August 10, 23:15:29- acd4687063, macOS 64 bit"; I would like this issue to be re-opened.

This bug has been solved. As explained in the commit message, you have to change the collision shape of the rigid body object to "Base" to make it work.

Thank you for showing me! I confirm: this bugfix works when I set the rigid body to "Base". However if I use a softbody the problem remains; Should I file another bug report for this?

You can, but this will probably remain a known issue for now.
