System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 2070/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 451.67

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.82 (sub 7), branch: master, commit date: 2020-02-12 16:20, hash: blender/blender@77d23b0bd7
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
If you add more than two "Empty" objects, the objects rotate during export to FBX.

There are two types of exports:
Unity preset,
The standard preset.

If you make no more than one include in the hierarchy, everything works well.
All rotation is reset.

Could you please test it in newer Versions as well? Like 2.83 and 2.9? Maybe it is already fixed and you just don't know :)

The rotations have changed, but they are still there.
The object in the first folder("empty") is normal (large building).
The object nested in the second folder("empty") has a rotation (small building).

Sorry this has been lying around for so long.

Just to make sure we are all on the same page:

  • could you share an example .blend file where this happens?
  • does blender itself import this back correctly?
