viewport artifacts when sculpting with AA #79899

Short description of error
With the viewport display mode set to solid, sculpting produces temporary visual artifacts which disappear once the cursor is released. they are more prominent if the object being sculpted fills most of the viewport. The issue goes away if anti-alias is disabled in the viewport (in user preferences).

I concur. It's next to impossible to do any testing on anything more complex than the simplest of geometry because of this bug. If I use the latest builds for a typical project, the software inevitably becomes unresponsive and freezes.

I can confirm this on blender-2.91.0-010c1370aff6-windows64, Windows 10 x64, Nvidia 2070 Super Driver 452.06

An observation: if you add a Subdivision modifier to your mesh and enter Sculpt Mode, the viewport trash will be gone.

I've installed yesterday's build and didn't work with it a lot, but can't recall encountering the bug, so it might have been away and returned.

Here's my system config:

Intel Core i9 9900K CPU, 64 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
