Hello

I have recently developed an add-on to find edge loops in non-quad and messy geometries.
It traces an edge and if possible selects an edge loop in its path based on the angle between edges.
You just need to make sure the edge is active and either search for "Edge Tracer" or press "Shift + T" shortcut.
You can also adjust the minimum allowed angle between linked edges.

I have attached the add-on file, I also made it available on GitHub: https://github.com/Bitsorb/AngleBased-EdgeTracer
You can also find some screenshots in the repository.
