Short description of error
If your UVs aren't named 'UVMap' when adding a CTRL-R loop cut slide all the new UVs are positioned at 0,0 in UV co-ordinate space.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open a new scene with the default cube.
  2. Rename the UV map to 'UVChannel'
  3. Go into Edit mode and Add a Loop Cut.
