Prefetch Cache will crash Blender when playing a Meta Strip containing a Scene Strip.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Open VSE.
  • Add a new scene.
  • Add the first scene as scene strip.
  • Convert it into a meta strip.
  • In the Preview sidebar switch on Prefetch Frames.
  • Blender crashes.
