Short description of error
[I can't see the object's materials and flaws are visible]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Start Blender, add a material to any object (for example a texture of an image) and then click on material preview]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

This is likely caused by an issue with the graphics driver. Version later than 20.11.1 are known to cause problems, as report in #82856. Please check if enabling //Render Properties > Performance > High Quality Normals" displays the object properly. I would suggest you downgrade to a previous driver version until the issue is fixed. Please let us know if this solves the issue for you.

Also please don't assign the ticket to yourself unless you intend to work on a patch.

Probably isn’t a good idea to put your email in the title. It could possibly result in some bot picking it up and adding you to spam email lists. I’ve removed it to prevent this.
