System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: Intel(R) UHD Graphics Intel 4.5.0 - Build 27.20.100.8681

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.0, branch: master, commit date: 2020-11-25 08:34, hash: 0f45cab862
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The screen or rather the 3d work space disorients in to (image.png). I could not actually find words to describe this error.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add a 3d mesh and click on objects
  2. then from the drop-down list click Quick Effects » Quick Smoke
  3. Then scale the domain a little bigger to any wished size
  4. Increase the resolution to about 100 and hit space bar to play the animation in the solid view and then stop after a while and hit shift+ Left arrow
  5. Switch between the different view but the fastest I saw that directly switch to rendered view (The render engine doesn't matter) and then to the solid view. The grids disappear.
  6. Then switch to wireframe mode the screen will show as in the picture above but it might not happen at once after 2-3 to times switching between different views the screen will appear like (image.png).

The problem might have other appearances like this one image.png this color I got recently.

[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (Fire_Simulation Crash.blend)]

Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to make Blender glitch again. Once it glitches, close Blender and the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop.

Please try to update your graphics driver for Intel UHD Graphics.
