Hi so I’m very new to blender and have been following an online tutorial on the software. Everything has been running smoothly until I reached the shader options. My main problem is when I try to apply colors to my objects the material preview bugs out like above. The only option that really works as intended is the solid option.

Hopefully the image downloaded for you guys

Are you using an AMD GPU with driver version 20.11.2 or later? If that is the case you're likely having the same issue as described in #82856. You can downgrade your graphics driver to version 20.11.1 or enable Render Properties > Performance > High Quality Normals as a partials workaround.

For future bug reports, please create them through Help > Report a Bug in Blender and follow the submission template . We need the system information (operating system, GPU, graphics driver version), affected Blender version, previous Blender version that worked properly, a short and precise description of the issue, step by step instructions to reproduce it and, if relevant, a minimal .blend file that showcases the problem.

Also for future reports please take a screenshot though Window > Save Screenshot in Blender, instead of a photo.

@Erice253 That's good to hear. No worries about, that this was just as an info.
