System Information
Operating system: Windows 7
Graphics card: AMD Radeon 5700 series

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.91 (steam version)

Short description of error
Every time I try to open blender right now, it just crashes, I could only take the crash text and screenshot from OBS since it shows in a couple of milliseconds. This problem didn´t happen with previous versions (I even installed 2.8 and it worked without any problems).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Besides me using windows 7 and the version from steam. I don´t think something could have affected the startup besides some compatibility problem (if that's what´s wrong).

The AMD Radeon 5700 series is part of the [AMD Radeon HD 5000 series ]] and has the old TeraScale 2 micro-architecture. The https:*www.blender.org/download/requirements/ for Blender 2.8x and 2.9x state that [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units#Features_Overview | GCN first generation or later is required for running Blender.

Supported Graphics Cards

Unfortunately, this means that your GPU is below the minimum requirements and we don't provide support for it. Graphics glitches and even crashes due to unpatched bugs in the graphics driver can occur on unsupported hardware. That being said, there is a known issue with these unsupported GPU that 2.92 has a workaround enabled by default (see D9667). If this is the same issue you're having, you should be able to start Blender by opening the installation directory and double-clicking on the blender_debug_gpu_glitchworkaround.cmd. If this doesn't help you may have to use a previous release of Blender with lower requirements.

In case you're not aware Windows 7 has reached its end of life and is not receiving security updates by Microsoft anymore.
