System Information
Operating system: Linux-5.8.0-38-generic-x86_64-with-debian-bullseye-sid 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD KABINI (DRM 2.50.0, 5.8.0-38-generic, LLVM 11.0.0) X.Org 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 20.2.6

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.2, branch: master, commit date: 2021-01-19 16:15, hash: 5be9ef4177
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
In texture painting mode, when texture is associated i.e. I have the material image in right-hand side view, and left UV view ; if I move the vertical view separation, it unlinks the image in left UV view.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
In texture painting mode, when green texture is associated i.e. I have the green material image in right-hand side view, and left UV view ; if I move the vertical view separation, it unlinks the green image in left UV view.

I was unable to reproduce the issue on Linux. Since the texture is still applied to the cube and is listed, it doesn't seem to be actually unlinked in the sense of the term used by Blender. It could be a drawing glitch.

Please try to run Blender from the terminal using the following debug flags:

./blender --debug --debug-gpu > ~/blender_debug_output.txt 2>&1

./blender --debug --debug-gpu > ~/blender_debug_output.txt 2>&1

logs nothing.

> ./blender --debug --debug-gpu > ~/blender_debug_output.txt 2>&1 logs nothing.

@PeterMOUEZA Have you checked the file it redirects the output to? If Blender is starting properly it should at least print some general information.
