The Transform Node rotates the Geometry but not the Shape

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add a Sphere
Scale the Spere on one axis
Open the Geometry Nodes Editor
Take the Transform Node and rotate the Objekt

Thanks for the report, but this isn't a bug. The "Tranform" node moves the vertices of the geometry just like you were in edit mode and moved them yourself. And as we know, object-level transformations are applied after edit mode transforms.

Well, geometry nodes can't rotate the object, because it only affects the object data. The object itself is like a container for the evaluated data.

I would recommend always applying the object scale before using geometry nodes. In general non-uniform object scale in these situations is only going to give you problems.

Ok thanks for your explanation. So it is never going to happen that you rotate in Geo-Nodes properly because it effects the objekt data. OK thats good to know. Thank you
