Blender Version

Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
All faces within the selection bounds should always be selected without fail. Some small faces are (still) currently missed. This has been a bug in Blender for a long time. If someone would fix it, that would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Using the attached .blend file in Y-orthogonal view in Edit Mode, use the box- or the circle-select tool to select the faces around the pole of the high-gon sphere. Then zoom in and see if all of those faces were actually selected.

@Tom Hartley (Shhmacckko) It seems like the blend file wasn't uploaded. Could you try again using drag & drop?

Apologies.
