I can confirm this on the lastest 2.93.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-04-07 05:32, hash: 2fbee4598c.

Though enabling All Lines in the Chaining panel solves the issue for me.

This is currently a limitation of line art, which is it doesn't know which object an intersection line comes from, hence you can't select intersection line using object source.

This will be addressed in the future where the information is recorded.
