Library Override breaks rigging #87496

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon RX Vega ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.14757 Core Profile Context 20.11.2 27.20.14501.18003

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0, branch: master, commit date: 2021-02-24 16:25, hash: 02948a2cab
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When I turned a linked rigged character to a library override and then undid a pose it broke a number of custom bone shapes, returning them to default bone shape. In one instance it appears to have also broken material attribute drivers.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I've tested building a rigged cube and arbitrarily adding complexity until it breaks. So far I've wasted a half an hour trying to find where the break happens. I added about 20 joints with several separated chains. I've bone grouped and colored various aspects. I've layered bones arbitrarily. I've reparented and moved bones. I've set some custom bone shapes to scale to match the bone. I've added constraints and custom properties. So far the bug hasn't happened, and I don't know what to try next.

I do have the following source files. Bring in a linked collection of the xbox controller or the good guy, change their pose and then undo it. Watch the custom shapes disappear. XBox Controller - Rig.blend Dual Grapple - Characters.blend

I can't reproduce this on latest master. Could you test on the latest daily build of 2.93? I think it might be already fixed.

The daily build won't run for me. It says, "Dependent Assembly blender.crt, type="win32", version="1.0.0.0" could not be found." Not sure how to fix, so I guess I'll wait for another build and try again.

@Colin_Knu , can you confirm with fresh build? Please check if the issue is fixed there or not (https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/)

It appears to be fixed now!
Ran into a separate issue with an inability to delete keys on the library linked character, but that can be its own card.
