Texture paint crashing problem #87504

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 465.89

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0, branch: master, commit date: 2021-02-24 16:25, hash: 02948a2cab
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Im using the latest Blender verison 2.92, but I was still having a problem using the older versions from 2.82 and upwards within the texture paint crashing.

This texture paint crashing problem looks like it is mentioned within the community, but it is not.

The crash only happens when I'm in texture paint mode trying to applying my "4K" image on a model I made within Blender.

I'm able to texture paint 5% of the model and when I paint a little further onto the model the software closes on itself; it's like it can't handle handling 4k imaging painted on it any further. I've beefed up the computer specs thinking that would be able to fix the issue, but it's still crashing. I've also maxed out the memory limits and cache and it still won't work.

I'm using an Nvdia GeForce RTX 3060 with a AMD Ryzen 3950x 16-core processor and I've enabled CUDA and Optix to use it, but it keeps crashing.

Look I'm not going below 4k imaging so that's not an option for the vision I have in mind that I'm creating (just to put that out there), and I do love Blender's UI so I'm willing to tough it out. I just want a solid build and a working texture paint so I can finish this project and discover why I need to donate to a awesome company like Blender, because I recognize it's journey and want to help be a part of it.

If you can fix this thanks!

Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to make Blender crash again. Once it crashes the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt (or simply type %TEMP% into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).

Thank you for the files. The information they give doesn't really help unfortunately. The crash log output ([project name].crash.txt) was added in 2.90. Please try again with the latest official release from blender.org and daily build from builder.blender.org, and upload the crash.txt.

Can you please also upload an example file?
