Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 460.73.01

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0, branch: master, commit date: 2021-02-24 16:25, hash: 02948a2cab

Short description of error
When baking a texture with Optix and displacement, the baked image become transparent.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Make a simple material with displacement and try to bake it with Optix selected.

An info message says : "Baking is performed using CUDA instead of Optix" but the image is not shown (transparent).
It works when CUDA is selected and when displacement is unplugged using Optix.

Can confirm.

Since 612b83bbd1, this either crashes for me (then after the crash was fixed some time in January it renders blank as reported here).
I am on a 970m though, not the best device to test this.
