Short description of error
"Unsupported graphics card or driver" error occurs when saving new file while Blender is displayed on second monitor (XP-Pen 22R graphics monitor). Error does not occur when Blender is on main display (Dell 4k monitor).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup file.
Move Blender window to second monitor.
Save file.
Error encountered, forced to quit.

Do you have all of your monitors connected to one of your graphics cards? I believe this is expected behavior if you have each of your monitors connected to different graphics adapters, under Windows.

Yes that makes sense but NVIDIA control panel shows both monitors are connected. Also, it did work with a previous version of Blender.

OpenGL is a bit weird on Windows. The primary display creates a proper hardware-accelerated context while the secondary can only make a crappy software one, even though you have a nice adapter. Blender only complains at the point you make a window on the secondary one so everything can seem okay as long as all windows are created on the primary one. But best to just hook up all monitors to one adapter.

It isn’t like this for DirectX (and probably not on other platforms) so this is mostly just a Microsoft thing.

@Harley that seems to have fixed it (putting both monitors on one card). Thanks! It still seems to be an issue though since this did work with 2.92.0. I imagine there are many setups where users have multi-monitor and multi-card setups.
