Hi, blender enthusiast here,
I've been using blender for a long time now and have always been impressed by the limitless possibilities this program is capeable of.
I like to play around with physics and simulations in blender and once I came across a video showing rigid bodies interacting with a fluid simulation which drew my attention.
I've also seen similar stuff in programs like Houdini that use Flip Solver or something like that (uhh Houdini is too complicated for me though to understand haha).
Nvidia Fluid Simulation Coupling
Nvidia Bouyancy Example go to 6:51 and 9:56*(I think the name of the software is Nvidia PhysX or Nvidia Flex if anyone wants to know and it's also in realtime but I don't think this is necessary)//
I've been wondering if there was a chance that this feature could be implemented in the fluid simulator "MantaFlow" that comes with blender as an
additional option for obstacles in the simulation that can be enabled or left disabled.
I would say that it works just like a rigid body object.
Maybe these options should come with the feature:
"mass (of the obstable)",
"bouyancy",
"enable air in obstable (for bouyancy)",
"air pockets/trapped air, air options (how is the air trapped inside the object)"
"bouyancy strength/amount in obstacle",
"white water influence/emission/...",
"gravity",
"friction",
"boundary/domain settings (push out obstables/collide/kill obstable)"
and maybe more.
Please let me know if this would be possible to implement because I think that this would be a neat extra feature :)

Mantaflow: maybe not.
But a new system for physics is on the roadmap for this year, see https://code.blender.org/2022/01/strategic-targets-2022/
However, this is a place for bug reports.
