Jump to keyframes only works with active object #97701

Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Have some keyframes and switch to the graph editor
  2. Klick on any of the jump to keyframe buttons

Result:

See above image.

Expected:

The timeline indicator should jump to the next curve point.

There seems to be something else going on as well, because not even the dope sheet recognizes keyframes in this file:

There is no active object in your scene.
Since keyframe jumping takes this into account though, you'll get this warning.
As soon as you set an object active, this will start to work.

I agree this can look somewhat unexpected, I wonder if this should somehow work when nothing is active?
Maybe this should also work in a way that it respects the available filtering options more? (so what you see on screen is what the jumping reacts to -- although I can also see when you want this to only take one objects keyframes into account while you still want to see keyframes of other objects...)

Having said this, this is not really a bug (since it seems to work as originally coded), will keep open though for feedback from #animation_rigging if this should somehow be made to work better.
