Short description of error
Using VSE are visible glitches in Sequencer editor area, glitches seems to be portions of Blender video buffer
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1 - open Blender
2 - reset it to factory setting
3 - choose File > New > Video Editing menu item or open Video Editing workspace
4 - glitches are visible in Sequencer area (strip editor) as in video, resizing Sidebar do glitches more visible.

The fix code for #98620 does not fix the bug I reported. I have tested Blender 3.3 Alpha

This bug affects me too since blender 3.2.0 with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 on Ubuntu 21.10 using driver version 470.129.06
Both with package from blender.org and with snap

Some news? A month has already passed and Blender continues to be unusable with Video Sequencer with versions later than 3.1.x. Today Blender 3.3Alpha (
