Looks at my edit. I found something that seems to work according to docs.

Your example gives a error.

You're right, it does happen in 2.79. Maybe the default cube needs UVs removed and all the primitive operators have "Generate UVs" set to False by default? Who really needs UVs on primitive objects.
This is not a bug afaik. Dyntopo has always done this on purpose. The reason why, is because it's a highly destructive operation that will hose your UV's and other data.

OK, it still happens with a build from today. Here's a video showing the issue.

@Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) Look at the screenshot again, in the middle to the right side. The "File Selector Drop" gets enabled and tries to "preselect" a picture at the location of the cursor. You can see the "blue 9" is selected, which is "blue_9.png" . I can make a video if needed? Pretty quick to make as "Invalid".

You need a blend where you can create the vertex groups and get the same results? I found something else that might not be related ,but seems to be a issue.
You can also remove everything ,but the decimate modifier and you still get the same results and error.

Everything was done inside Blender ,so I don't think it has anything to do with the .dae. Looks like there's another bug report about this https://developer.blender.org/T60214 Even following those steps, I couldn't get it to happen. Maybe it was a bug that got fixed?
OK, so I tested copying code that was tabs and unchecked the "Tabs as Spaces" and it seemed to work. I guess that explains why copying the text wasn't working. Still is weird having to define if it's spaces or tabs. Not sure of any other text editor you have to do this. Might not be a "bug" ,but sure is annoying, LOL.

I also kinda like Alt 4. Not a fan of the thickness at the bottom though. Maybe the shape of Alt 4 with the thickness of Alt 1 ,which would give more room for maybe a few more drops at the back?
I believe you can do that with that single line:obj.scale.x *= new_dim_x/obj.dimensions.x
Ah, @Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) changed that API yesterday or so, will check all of our add-ons in case others used that prop too…

- Orientation "None" sounds misleading to me, I would expect that to be a 0,0,0 orientation.
- I would instead have None as a 0,0,0 and add a new one called Previous, that would behave as None now.
I’ve experienced materials going black ,but it happened once or twice and I can't reproduce it. I was working on some double sided cards and 1/4 of them turned black, started to show the color on the back, and then blender crashed. It's almost as if you did the following.

I noticed the too. You don’t even have to use a operator. Sometimes just using the undo in 3D View makes it add, delete, or delete the entire text. It’s nearly impossible to use the text editor currently. My guess is it’s the undo/redo system, which seems to be causing a lot of issues.

For example if you deleted an object with a mesh using this material, the mesh datablock is not immediately deleted and still using the material. Only on file save and reload would that user disappear.
OK, this doesn’t doesn’t seem to be a bug. It seems this is what is happening. In all the years I’ve used Blender, I’ve never noticed this. I tested this in 2.79 and it does the same.

I had something similar happen in the node editor. The scroll wheel would no longer zoom in and out. If you press the middle mouse down and move up or down, it would act like the zoom widget in the 3D view. Also, I could no longer hold the middle mouse down and rotate ,cause the 3D view was acting the same way. Restarting blender fixed the issue ,but there was something going on. I have no idea what triggered this behavior ,but something did.

Is the branch info still there or did it get removed? I have got no branch info the last few times.

I get the same here on Windows 10 x64. Looks like if you keep the empty at (0.0, 0.0, 0.0). the mirror doesn't go beyond the 0.0 point of the selected mirror axis. If this is normal, it sure is odd behavior for a mirror modifier.
Can you supply a blend file that demonstrates this issue?

Go to Nvidia Control Panel and set Antialiasing - Mode to "Application-controlled". This seemed to fix the problem for me.
I also get the same. GTX 950M, Windows 10 x64
Mine can be merged or closed. I posted the same thing around 10 hrs earlier. This only seems to happen with the single or double icon layout.

b) from your original screenshot, the 'duplicates' look like drawing artifacts
c) please mention your video card and driver
Not sure a .blend will do much good. It's only like 3 or 4 steps and the only thing a .blend would do is have import bpy in text editor.

@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) not sure if this is related ,but I never posted cause I never could 100% reproduce.

Yeah, the second one is not a issue. I think what I did was had a image editor open to the left of a movie clip editor. I had the tool panel and properties panel closed for the Image editor ,but both of them open for the movie editor. It made me think the properties panel was changing for both. The first issue makes a little more since now ,but it looks like it wouldn't be so confusing if there wasn't settings that wasn't used. How many editors have tab settings for the theme ,but yet don't have tabs? I've never seen tabs in the outliner, info, properties, etc ,but it's under theme settings.
