@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) I changed the theme. I did run into some issues with blender_theme_as_c.py though. It would replace the .space_graph or .space_info names with .tipo and .tinfo. So I ran it than manually replaced the one line for .info_info after reverting the changes. I hope that's okay, as there is the warning not to edit the file manually...
Changed theme to blue rather than green for info editor "info"
Is this good to go @Brecht Van Lommel (brecht)?

@Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) I believe this change breaks subscribe_rna. I get an error Invalid format string ($ before |). Looking at the python docs I noticed that it is illegal to place a $ without a | before it in the format string. Removing the $ fixes the problem, but I'm not sure that is what you want as that removes the requirement for keyword args.

Very minor change, uses CLAMP3 rather than CLAMP

So @Brecht Van Lommel (brecht), just a question on this implementation. From what I can see, it wouldn't make sense to make all the empty types strictly radius or size. For example, radius makes sense for the circle or the single arrow, but not for the cube or the image. In the operator execute function it would be easy to add a condition based on the type to switch between a size and radius property, but that would require two properties on the operator, which is confusing. Would there be a way to control which property shows on the operator? Or is there another solution I'm not thinking of.
Yeah I'll fix it. While I'm at it, I'll check other object types to see if there are similar discrepancies and fix those too

Looking good! Let's try to use the theme colors as much as possible. No hardcoded colors. We can fix the theme if needed.
Jan 24 2019
The reports flash and fade to a solid color based on report type now. Colors come from the UI theme for the Info Editor.
Jan 23 2019
Okay I will do that. I tried accessing the info theme colors previously by using UI_GetThemeColor3ubv but it only returned an array of zeroes. Is there a restriction on getting colors from a different editor?
Personally I think that adding the report colors to the theme would be a good idea so custom themes have more control and consistency. If that isn't the best route, a hard-coded report text color would work. I tried to go that route, but as I'm new to the source I couldn't figure out how to do it.
Okay, the info message could definitely be changed back to blue ,and the other colors as well.

I thought I would see if I could help here since things haven't been active here for a while.

@William Reynish (billreynish) so the best solution in this case would be a slight redesign of the popover itself so it doesn't close until a "close" button is pressed? And is there a reason why it works when opening from the context menu, and not from the decorator?
I'm not too familiar with how the UI works yet. I got the popover to display (it was pretty simple) but it does not work properly. Moving the mouse just below the driver type option exits the popover.
Removed unnecessary statements
It flips to the top for me as well.

Just realized it is not working properly yet.. I'll see if I can fix it.

Based on discussion on papercut task (T57880) confirmation popups are back for pressing the "X" key to delete. Pressing the delete key will not create a popup.
Nov 17 2018
@William Reynish (billreynish) Okay, should I report it somewhere else then? Or are you going to add this to the papercuts?
Instead of a user preference maybe the "ask for confirmation" could be an operator parameter, that way it could be set on a per instance basis.
Say pressing Delete would not ask, but X would, and pressing some button or an entry in a menu would not require confirmation. Users could then adjust as Desired from the keymap options on a per key basis.
This issue I'm seeing with changing workspaces when the user preferences is open may be related? The user preferences switches to 3D view.

@Lucas Boutrot (thornydre) I think it would be the same for adding a cube (and grid, plane, even things like a bezier curve and a metaball plane), it would make sense for the size of the cube to reflect the length of a side, not the radius.
I'm willing to give this one a shot since I'm interested in helping with development and it seems pretty simple. Should I just change the add sphere operator, or should I wait for further discussion on changing other operators to be more consistent?
