Well yeah.... Really slow with the software opengl dlls but no flickering any more... So thanks for your time, folks.
These dual graphic cards are just not supplied with good quality drivers. And no one can help, I bet. (well, AMD and Intel and the computer manufacturer might, but they won't...)

Same problem with Windows 7 Enterprise 64 Bit SP1 on a Intel Core i7-4800MQ, AMD Radeon HD 8790M / Intel HD Graphics 4600, Blender c6b042b.
Maybe something can be done about it anyways?
Not working again in 2.75 release without Window Draw Mode "Triple Buffer". (which is needed for it to be drawn anyways)
It does work though in the Render Tab under "Output" when you switch to Stereo 3D Views Format. And it does work with Triple Buffer enabled.

Is it possible to include the (imho) very important hint, that a Mesh has to be non-manifold to get reliable results being used with the Boolean Modifier? I had lots of time wasted to figure this out and tried all kind of solutions which didn't work until I finally found it somewhere hidden in the blenderartists forum.

There is a perfectly well done explanation of how to shift around this problem from Mattson Miller. Just in case anybody stumbles over the same problem, there's a working solution provided with a really understandable video tutorial.
