The fan on my gigabyte 980 ti also defaults to very slow settings and even when the Gpu temp gets to 82c it is still not running at higher speeds. That is why I use the overclocking tool to set a manual fan speed curve that is more in line with performance rather than quietness.

Thanks for your efforts Serge. I'm sure while you were reading those gamer forums you read as I did that the performance problems were solved by telling the Nvidea driver to use the GPU for Physx instead of the Cpu.

I added my info to the spreadsheet as well.

One more update:
I have had render speed issues on a test file I am working on.

Thanks. From what I see on that thread 2.77 is not liking the titans at all and nothing is going to be done about it.
Thanks for trying to verify. I updated the Nvidia drivers to 364.51 and tested again. This helps a little cause the render time is now 6:28. So that has improved a bit but still much slower than 2.76b

Thanks for the suggestion JuicyFruit. I was able to get both cards working by installing the gtx 770 in the Pcie 2.0 16x slot and putting the Raydat audio card back into the pcie 2.0 1x slot where is was originally.
