I have the sane problem, also "multi-sampling" and "anisotropic filter" looks like have no effect on the viewport.

I just found that problem for a project that I'm working one. There is any solution available or hack that we can do to solve the it? I see that the first report was done around 4 years ago, and blender 2.78 still don't recognise linked folders in windows 10.

I have a similar problem, the results of the bake are quite different of the render ones.
I want to highlight some edges for a cartoon looking material, but some edges appear as a discontinue line instead of a nice highlight line like in the render...

But the real problem is not the animation stuff is that the bone naming system have changed, and this is problematic for many reasons !
