@Dan Pool (dpdp) i think there are plenty of those reports. yes, maybe is too much as i said about 100% crash.
it's most likely inconsistent but not much rarely and it hard to reproduce as @Lapis Sea (LapisSea) said.
anyway the struggle is real, when you tweaked one vert go out edit mode then again in to edit mode, and then you decided to rollback
i vote for split 'timeline' as it was in .7x, at least for a time being.
So why not split the timeline for time being?
Because most of crashes happens when you jumping back and forth modes then undo steps
blender starts to cycle through modes -> 💯% crash, even on not heavy scenes

What about separate undo per mode? 🤔
As it was in 2.7x
When you undo in edit mode it roll back as normal, but if you undo in edit mode it roll back you to the stage before you last enter in to edit mode

But i just realize that this pie only work in mesh edit mode and object mode, but not in curve edit mode nor UV editor and Grease Pencil ?

I added inverse square to edit menu,
but i stuck with this problem in obj mode
Also projected should be toggle too, same issue as with connected
ts.use_proportional_projected = True >>> ts.use_proportional_projected ^= 1

I found that it missing one falloff type 'inverse square'
So why others pies left? like shading Z pie.
Why it cant be a good alternative? With this pie i can manipulate all proportional settings with one key
Its just a 14KB file. No one will suffer if it remains.
I assume a lot of people use it.

Could you please bring back proportional pie?
Because now to start using 2.81 i need manually reinstall fixed addon.

Yes it similar to built in, but it has much better options. I can control proportional edit with single 'O' button with out menu diving and interface clicking.
Please do not remove. Just a little fix and we all be happy. (:

whoa, rotate is not on the list, as move and scale.
Actually extrude is not on the list too.
So there are only three tools Spin, Bevel, Insert
But it work in 2.79 pretty nice

It works only if i do smth continuously, but if i what for example insert specific amount then bevel then inset again with than specific amount
why you just remove it, it was perfect in 2.79

But u still can adjust amount with mouse.
Example i have set up my tool (insert "i") for specific amount. and then do a different action, how i can do insert with same amount
im using 2.79b

Sorry don't find place where to ask for it, anyway.
Hey, is it possible to implement old layers interface for collections. Like first 20 dots and squares are for the first 20 colletinos.
Because its really fast to switch between layers(collections) and turn visibility on/off fast too.
Or add visible and render icons on M menu.
