Totaly with you guys. We can drop dyntopo out of blender, im not even touching anything past 2.80 and since i switched back to zbrush i do not care much about sculpting in blender. I think its time do drop cycles since we have eevee. Blender has bright future.

If possible, please bring back Size and Strenght Widget from 2.80 for all modes Sculpt/Paint/Vertex Paint. It can be somwhere as optional behavior i dont mind if its not default anymore. The new one is unusable on screen tablets.

Personally i would drop Orginal Plane opion where cursor indicator is stationary and does not follow tablet pointer.

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) I wouldnt call this a duplicate cause the problem is not make any size of brush but the problem is that while i make brush/any size of strenght im covering screen with my palm.

Ok so ive tested 2.8 daily build from Lazydodo link. It is still broken when wintab enabled and when windows ink is enabled it only kinda helps. Right now there is no lag with the stroke at start but spacing of brush in texture paint mode looks like its a random value.
Is there a plan to repair this also on 2.79?
where can i test 2.79 build? On blender.org there is 2.79 from March 22?

Ive tested your improvements and ive found that you have changed behavior of cursor ring.
Right now when im making stroke, the outer ring that shows size of brush dissapears. I think that this is not a good idea. I understand that you try to mimic zbrush but from user perspective its always nice to know how big brush is and how big can become with max pressure. Right now im unable to judge this. So im asking for a little revert to 2.79 behavior with new surface normal behavior (its basicly, same as 3dCoat) or a little checkbox would do the job just fine.
Another thing is that if you enable tablet pressure sensitivity button (next to radius bar), while stroking outer ring is visible (thats good) but does not follow surface normals.

I finally found whats going on. So Microsoft reinvented stylus for tablet pc. From their perspective, pen should act as 11 finger. So now it works as finger, not as mouse. If i do not want lag when rotating/moving 3d view, paint, sculpt etc. i need to tap twice screen with pen before making stroke :D Microsoft you garbage piece of shit. Meanwhile i found that there is more problems with expanding or spliting windows in blender. All of this actions require doubletap. I wonder what they did in krita since all works fine there. Any ideas how to adapt those "new" changes to blender to work as previous or we wait for microsoft so they change their mind?

Ok so i messed with the drivers and installed the oldest one that i had in my download folder and found out that all newer ones are having this lag issue. So the only one that is working is ISD_DualTouch_712-9, and ISD_DualTouch_731-7/ISD_DualTouch_7.3.4-47 are broken. I will write to wacom so they can investigate whats going on.

This is caused of 8bit normal map.
bake and save your normal map with float buffer option checked to tiff 16bits

First thing, i wrote in last sentence of this bug report
@tanget space normal maps used in provided picture are just examples, you can use any color image to reproduce bug.
Overlay blending mode was designed to work in color space not in linear space. Why do you accept wrong results?
For node editor it doesnt matter cause i can make a simple node group to work but for example in texture paint mode overlay set to blending type or in paint mode produces wrong result

Sorry for my english, but right now pressure sensitivity button is unified with brush size across brushes. In my opinion it is bug/bad design. Same story with brush strength. This option can be useful, right now it is not.

Sorry to bother, but trick with autosmooth checkbox works only if i use multiresolution modifier. I just discovered that if i apply midifier i get same visual bug no matter what position autosmooth check box is left. You can check this by downloading file that i atached in first post and just apply multiress modifier then try to sculpt.

Im not asking here to add autosmooth to sculpting. I think that turning autosmooth option off everytime someone enters sculpt mode might be solution for this. Leaving this unresolved will be confusing for some people.

Hello, i know that it is super old but this was changed in blender 2.73+ to pick color from active texture/layer. Can you guys revert picking color from screen space as an option? It is really usefull in shadeless texture painting, and after 2.73 it forces to use 1 layer only.
