I dropped support for VS2012 in favor of VS2013.
So, yes, we can remove the VS2012 stuff in all parts of Blender except for cycles/cuda stuff.

It could be an issue with the drivers of the Tablet. But crashing is not an option here.
I am still trying to find the cause of this but it's really hard because I don't have the hardware to really test this. With my Wacom Tablet everything works fine.

This behaviour is strange.
m_tabletData is initiallized in the constructor of the window.
Did you compile blender yourself?
If yes: Did you build it with WITH_CXX_GUARDEDALLOC?

your textures are huge...
The size of the textures is 7 MB on disk (JPEG I guess) but when loaded into blender the texture takes much more ram than on your disk.
In theory your 10800x5400 pixel jpeg is decoded into a bitmap with 32bits per pixel, that should be about 1866240000 bits (=~222,5 MB) !

this is not a bug per definition. Actually Blender works as intended in this case.
In GHOST_WindowWin32.cpp on line 205 ++
The window rect is mapped to the nearest monitor and the width/height is reset to fit the screen dimensions of the Monitor.

All I can tell after testing this is that Blender seems to work "as intended" I can not redo this bug on my system.
I tested this on my Dell CAD workstation with Win 7 and 3 Monitors on one Graphics card. Unfortunately I don't have a USB display adapter to test this.

I think it's the combination of small geometry and yout catalyst driver. AMD graphics drivers are sometimes strange... I don't use AMD graphics cards anymore because I always had issues with them.
Unfortunately nobody here seems to be able to reproduce this problem.

After rotating the cylinder for about 30 Minutes on three different systems, with different hardware, I got bored...
Nothing happened, everything is fine.

Is the behaviour consistent on all OSes?
If so, it's a feature request otherwise I would consider it a bug...

This seems to be a pure MinGW problem. I could not reproduce this with VS20XX builds at all.
I don't have a MinGW dev environment ready here, so someone else should have a look at this.

I just did a quick test with your blend file on my Windows 8.1 System using a sundblaster x-fi and a creative 5.1 Sound System.
After I found out how to configure the Windows Settings to enable the 5.1 Output your blend file worked well. I had clean surround Sound.
Are you sure your System config is correct?
I'll try out with different library configs now ;)

Hmm... where does Blender store the Window Positioning information?
If someone could lead me to the portion of code I could have a look into this.
I had similar problems with window placement in other projects recently.

I'll look into this as soon as possible.
I took a brief look at this and found a problem with the FFmpeg libs. They seem to lack png support.
I'll rebuild the libs as soon as possible and upload them to SVN.
