I did an update of the bmesh part, but the material generating part is still too slow. I did it before the particle system was updated last year. you can change the way snow is recovering in the redo of the operator

wow I always found this so weird. I hope 1 day I could understand how to help there. I did this for the console. this is adding in python all needed functions to edit text in a normal way. integrated in C would be great https://github.com/1C0D/console_easy_text_edit-Blender/blob/master/README.md

why this is not the same shortcut to copy an operator button or a property button? will be logical to have only one and which is the operator to copy operators button. I see it nowhere in shortcuts

Ok thks this is solved. I read console_ops.c where they put a comment about the invoke. but I didn't understood well. It was just that I had to use the invoke and a pass_through to get keyboard inputs.
well this is not linked to a blend. in the C file this is written that's the invoke has not been considered(only from a key shortcut). so when using the op with invoke there is no effect.
in an operator I'm deleting the selection if exists and want to rewrite over it

when doing "toggle (os) console" with multiple windows it's often reopening behind what is confusing because you don't know it the console is opening or closing...and no separate state open/close operators neither...
an option/button in blender console could be added to switch between having or not os console results in blender console

sry didn't finished this one when you use ctrl+2 to add a subdiv modifier the f9 menu where you can change the level of subdivision can go negative...no min value in the variable apparently...

a parameter collection.name should be added in bpy.ops.outliner.item_activate to simulate a click and then make possible to use things like bpy.ops.outliner.collection_duplicate(), using a script...

watching your answer I understood it was linked to my configuration. so this is linked to the addon code editor for the text editor. very useful so I will see with authors. bring some love to the text editor :)

this is linked to the fact to enable or disable cursor surface in preferences.
if it is disabled in prefs but enabled in the tool in the 3D view this is not working and a toggle is needed to activate it. apparently the property in pref is not well synchronized with the tool
the problem is gone when doing factory settings
and this is not a bug maybe but the snap to face center is not working. I did this and that's really useful https://github.com/1C0D/Snap_cursor_2_face_center

I hope this is a transparent extension of the actual extrude with same shortcut |E|. gismow will automatically appears if a selection and same about snap. I mean extrude has just to be by default positive or negative
