The Property sensor expects a raw value, not a property for comparison. In your case you can change your sensor by an "Always" sensor, and replace the "And" controller by an "Expression" controller: prop > max

This doesn't happen on Linux. And it would be really time consuming to work in a non isolated file. Can you can build a debug version of Blender and paste the backtrace of the crash when running from MSVC?

I had a similar problem, it seemed to have something to do with the mesh names. In my case I had multiple tree types, each mesh simply named "tree". Renaming did the trick for me.

I can't seem to simplify the blend file and still retain the crash. Sorry about that. Here is a download for the entire game. The crash occurs after walking through a door. It doesn't crash on blender 2.77. The scene that the main game is in is "Scene."

@Thomas Szepe (hg1) : I used the O&python parsing to call a special function checking between the buffer conversion and the integer conversion. It avoids using a second function wrapper doing a lazy check by clearing the conversion error.

It seems that there really is something wrong in the code thet updates the child coordinates of bge.
Making this change the problem is solved, (but this is not my area so I'll wait for a second opinion)

I suppose the problem lies in the function: bool KX_NormalParentRelation::UpdateChildCoordinates(..) of KX_SG_NodeRelationships.cpp (but I may be wrong)

@Porteries Tristan (panzergame) Nothing like this is planned for the 2.8 3D viewport or 2D UI. We always draw screen-aligned text at a known size/scale.
