Anyone make any progress on this? This still appears to be an issue on 2.78 (3c04373), and I'm fairly surprised that animation layers have remained broken for this long.

@Porteries Tristan (panzergame) Nothing like this is planned for the 2.8 3D viewport or 2D UI. We always draw screen-aligned text at a known size/scale.

I don't know what is planned for the 2.8 viewport. But I think they will not add a font texture filtering.

Why you have edited the tags? The BGL wrapper is is for both BGE and Blender.
Also why you have removed Campbell from the reviewer list. He is the Python API module owner.

Closing.
Current changes have been incorporated in UPBGE Joystick refactor (including hotpluggin and vibration not present here). They will available after future merge.
With respect to extern gamecontrollerdb.txt extern file controversy exposed here, we converted the gamecontrollerdb.txt in a char* and added it into joystick sources. This way no extern file is necessary.

This is a common issue in real time rendering.
Right angle lighting and shadow generation are difficult and need specific fixes to be able to work.

Saving the file after modification does not help; only closing Blender seems to solve the problem.

Hi! I am using Blender 2.78a (e8299c8) on Mac 10.12.2 and I can't export the game with the export (save as a game engine runtime). I get the same errors (cannot find the player). There is not much documentation about that in the Blender Manual so I am asking my question here. Where the player should be? Does it have to be in the Applications folder? If I copy the path to put in the Player path field, it does not work. If I click on the browser option just at the right to find the player I get the error: Cannot activate file selector, one already open. Can you help me with that? I like this Game engine because I can do all my stuff in one place (Blender) and I enjoy avoiding to use Unity... Thanks
