manjaro linux - ati mobility radeon 4650
**Short description of error**
The Auto-Perspective feature does what it's suppose to do, automatically changing the view to perspective while navigating away from direct views (front, top, side, etc). However, it always forces perspective mode while orbiting from any other user-defined view. This means it's impossible to orbit the view in orthographic mode. This should not happen as orthographic orbiting can be very beneficial to certain workflows.
I notice that this has been reported for previous versions of blender:
I am reporting it because this bug is back in it's full annoying glory in the 2.7 rc and also the latest build from buildbot.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1.hit 5 to switch to ortho view mode.
2.Orbit and hit ALT to snap to front or side view
3. Orbit away from side view
Blender will then throw you back in perspective mode.
Some times it doesnt do it. So repeat the steps again if it doesnt happen the first time. Try orbiting away from front view by mid click dragging up and down as well as left/right
