Outliner: "Show Active" now also expands all parents to show the active object itself

Description

This little patch [ D974: Outliner: "Show Active" now also expands all parents to show the active object itself ] alters the behaviour of the Outliner's "View > Show Active" operator in the following way:
Prior to centering the view on the active object, it will open up all the parent hierarchies to reveal the active object itself.

[Currently you can press ‘.’ to find the selected object in Outliner. However, if it’s parented to an other object, you can’t see it under the hierarchy.]

This has actually annoyed me for quite some time and has been mentioned a couple of times in forums and by artists I have talked to.
Recently it has been mentioned here for example:
http://blenderaid.com/post/102873946729/currently-you-can-press-to-find-the-selected

edit: is also on TODO (see https://developer.blender.org/T41195)

[btw.: patch is reusing ifdefed code that was already in there]
What do you think?

Just did a first pass review and found some minor issues I'd like to see fixed for final commit. Would you mind uploading the diff to our Differential tool for easier review?

Diff is here: D974: Outliner: "Show Active" now also expands all parents to show the active object itself
(btw. did some more work on the outliner [sneak peak here http://www.pasteall.org/56005 ] but need some more time for a design task here and some more TODOs...)
