System Information
Operating systems: Windows 10 Pro, with the latest update as of March 27, 2019. And Linux.
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb. And Nvidia GTX 960.

Blender Versions
Broken: 2.80, Hash: cd92f8ea4326 and 532536bf52, as found on the splash screens.

Short description of error
I initially started this animation in 2.79b.
I am able to see the particles animating in 2.80. And they do render with Cycles.
There are other objects in the scene that do render with Eevee.
I’m using a simple 4 sided object with plain white on it, not UVed, no texture.
With HDRI illumination.
YAFU (https://blenderartists.org/u/YAFU) said this: If Emitter is configured as Wire for Viewport Display in Object tab, particles are not rendered.
Here's his .blend file

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Nothing special, just create a particles system and try to render them with Eevee.

To make the emitter be invisible, go to Properties > Object > Instances > Render Emitter and turn it off.

Then set the Render As setting to Textured.

@fclem It is indeed a little weird/unexpected that the Viewport Display wire & boundbox setting affects the final render. Is this something we should address?

Viewport settings should not affect the final render.

Is not EEVEE only issue, workbench does the same. Might be depsgraph issue.
