Changing the "Resolution Scale" in the interface tab of the preferences is the right way to make the interface bigger like that. I don't thing we support making the text scale so different from the resolution scale.

No not true. I already have Resolution Scale on 2 complete and I can not read on RIGGING bone text.
I have to use Text Style. Please to fix correct height to be fit without overlap.

A lot of editors can be interdependently scaled with {key ctrl MMB} (or what ever the equivalent is on mac)
Did you know you can set the resolution scale up to 4.00? It needs to be manually entered (the scroll is clamped up to 2.00)
With that I can't see any overlapping when I up the font styles to 22, does that help?

Right, I should have mentioned this.

What is your resolution scale? (Preferences -> Interface -> Resolution Scale) If any text doesn't get bigger with the resolution scale that is a bug, but the resolution scale is the proper way to make everything bigger rather than the theme options.

Sigh

Sigh

What was the sigh for?
In your first image ([F8704680 ](https://developer.blender.org/F8704680)) some of the the names are already overlapping. This happens at every scaling setting and is just a function of having the text anchored to the bone. Just zooming in to add some distance between them is all you need to do.
Else, what are you proposing?

The theme system is not meant to be the answer to this problem, and we can't fix any issue without more information, so I'm going to close this report.

I will repeat that I really don't think this will be a problem with a higher resolution scale.

What gave you that impression?

If you could try some of the things we suggested you will be able to get as close as you can to what you need.

Following the steps I wrote I can make the UI larger and still keep the text legible...
This is at 5K fullscreen.

I don't understand, I've said how to make the Text/UI larger in a readable way. (like in my screenshot)
You need to at least try changing these settings to get the closest you can to what you need.
"make height to be fit while enlarge text" that setting is the main scaling slider and I've told you how to use it.

Well, if you were to respond with: I don't understand rather then "Sigh" it would be more clear...
Do you know how to type in values?

Why the need to focus on the test style?
That is one of three ways to enlarge elements and it's obviously not working not working very well. You've already been told why.
You can fix the issue with the other methods, why not do that why you ignore me and call me wrong not show me what i ask i try to help

How can I fix the issue into CODE of Blender 2.91 Alpha?
I don't know how to work on script code within Text Style.
What is obviously, methods?

For Example:
@fclem : does this need to be converted to GPU_SHADER_3D_POLYLINE_UNIFORM_COLOR / immUniform1f("lineWidth", line_width * U.pixelsize) as well?

That what script code fix some where I don't know how to fix script.

@Kent-Davis : the above comment is from a totally unrelated report, this only makes this report more confusing.

I dont think there is anything in place to adjust the UI block sizes/zoom/aspecr in regards to the text style point size inside of them.
Things could be improved here (but I assume this is not an easy task), I would call this a Known Issue at most, closing even seems OK since I dont see this being worked on any time soon.
Maybe @JulianEisel would know more though...
